Default Where to buy Blank Nickel-Cadium plates rotors?

Does anyone know where I can buy blank nickel-cadium plated rotors for the front and rear? I do not want cross drilled or slotted rotors. It seems all nickel-cadium plated rotors only come in slotted/cross drilled for the S2000....anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Nick

I just checked with my friend with Centric/Stop-Tech. he said that if you want plated, you would have to buy non plated rotors from another source and then pay to have them plated. No one plates blanks.

That said, Centric Premium rotors are BLACK E COATED which, in my friend's opinion, is much better than plating.

FWIW. Let's see what others have to say.

Nice, that's great info. I think I'll go with some stop-tech's! Would you happen to know where the cheapest place to buy them online would be?

Thanks again for your help.

Did he say why the E-coat was better? I baked the E-coat right off my Centric rotors after 1 day of street use.

Best place to buy? I would just Google what you are looking for and you will probably get a lot of hits. i know that Zeckhausen Racing is a large stocking dealer. I sent Dave Zeckhausen an email about a club discount several months back and he said if there was enough interest, he would create one. You Could always ask.

As for the e coat coming off after one day, I would have no clue. I would email my friend (he's presently out of town), and pose your question but it may be quicker to contact Centric/Stop Tech directly. They will get back to you ASAP. I've been on a tour of their tech area. Very Cool, IMO.

I can get you some that are zinc plated. I assume thats what you wanted, or zinc-something, because nickel-cadmium is what rechargable batteries consist of, I haven't heard of that being used for rotors. I could be wrong.

Ya that's what I meant, thanks for correcting me. I want zinc plated rotors to prevent corrosion on the non-contact areas. Do you know where I can find them without cross-drilled or slotted? Thanks!

After doing some research I found you can actually buy the Zinc coating in a spray can. Not sure how effective it would be. Anyone ever try this?

Another fella PM'd me saying he could have blanks zinc-plated for around $100/pair.
