Default When To Do Coilovers and Not Just Lowering Springs?

Sorry, but I'm not a suspension expert (obviously). When should one go with full coilovers and not just lowering springs? Thanks.

When you either want to go lower than any lowering spring. Or when you want the option to adjust ride height to your preferences, and the ability to adjust the ride stiffness.

Not only this, but coilovers give you much higher spring rate options.

After researching and talking to the legend Billman, he recommended eibach springs/stock shock setup. I had him install the springs today and after 2 hours of driving I'm a fan! The drop is perfect for me and I will be AutoXing the car with the Eibachs and stock shocks.

The lower you go, the worse the car will handle, true story.

When you've done enough research to know the difference betweeen the two and determine what you want out of your car.
