Thinking about D2 coilovers? yay or nay
Thinking about ordering D2 coilovers.. looking for just a nice slam/tuck.. nothing crazy like auto x or nothing to that nature.. is this a good idea or no?? thanks in adv

^^I love the reasoning there.
The only experiences I've had with D2 coilovers were bad ones. I know that their quality has since gone up...but...still.
For the last sets of them that I've seen:
Friend A got them for his civic:
The damper knob seems to do whatever it wants. Turn it up and it seems to get softer. Turn it down a little, and it gets stiffer. Turn it a little more and it gets softer again. It's like pin the tail on the damper setting.
The ride really sucked.
Friend B got them for his civic:
They blew out after about a year or so.
The ride sucked...but he refused to admit it. Everyone else complained about the horrible ride.
If you've never had a NICE setup, you may not notice how much they suck, though.
Buddy club N+s are around the same price, I think. They usually get better reviews and seem to be better made.
