sway bar
I was wondering if I should purchase front and rear sway bars. I have an 01 and from my understanding they are already stiff. I do autox though and I know a lot of people with S2Ks have recommended sway bars. any thoughts on them?

For auto-x, people typically get a stiff front anti-roll bar and find a softer rear anti-roll bar. Many of the STR participants use the '06+ NC Miata front anti-roll bar in the rear of the S2000 or no rear anti-roll bar at all. What auto-x class are you building to?
Choosing an anti-roll bar setup needs to be properly selected based on spring rates and tire sizes. Any other modifications to your suspension system?
What about your current setup do you dislike? What characteristic is pushing you towards anti-roll bar changes?

I have stock suspension with 17in wheels. 225 front 255 rear. I really just wanted to decrease roll and get better times. I just know a lot of people who have got new sway bars have said it helped a lot. They have newer S2Ks though.
