Suspension Suggestions
Hi All,
I am new to the S2000 scene. I just got a 2002 and love it. It came on HKS 1" drop springs. When I hit dips on the expressway it hits the bumpstops. I am planning on having this car at the track quite a bit next year - road courses.
What is a good cornering / track suspension setup? I am not a professional driver so not looking to spend thousands on the setup but want to hear the options and opinions. Is coil overs the only way to go?
Rear end is currently also cambered in and I am looking to equal out the rear tires for better traction in the rear.
Thanks!

In the $1k region, there's Koni/GC or Bilstein PSS. The Koni setup is more agressive off the bat...and has adjustable damping. Need street comfort? wanna lower it more than 0.75"? Go with the Bilsteins.
In the $1500-1900 region, the choices get much better. Tein Mono Sport or Öhlins DFV. The Öhlins are more comfortable. Both are capable of supporting mods to the car to go faster.
The stock suspension is very capable..and will carry you very far. But...it seems like maybe that's not a good option for you.
The car has adjustment for any alignment angle. Align it how you want. Most people would not suggest 0 camber for track use.
