Suspension comparison

Thanks for all the comments. We made it home just fine. Car feels 100% and I didn’t see anything missing broken or bent. I should be swapping my wheels back to my street tires today, I’ll take some pics.
trust me, I was baffled at first. I was staring at the car thinking, “something is broken”.

Bent shock maybe? Like speed bump compressed suspension to point where bend is, and the slow rate of suspension travel allowed it to get hung up on bend.
Then later jacking it up, suspension weight was enough to allow it to release, returning to normal ride height.
So now suspension seems normal, responding normal. But next time it compresses to point where bend is, who knows what'll happen.

A bent shock would be easy to diagnose because it would blow the seals and throw fluid *everywhere*
I guess I'm not sure what OP really meant by "collapsed"
Was the car's suspension just compressed on an incline? Was this on a flat surface?
It doesn't appear he's taken the wheel off to inspect..so...idk. All speculation. Looking is key

I couldn’t find anything damaged or broken but let me know if you see something I missed
Everything looking in tack, no crazy leaks or broken things.
UCA ball joint, lower shock mount and sway bar end links all look good
No damage near the weld
Worst part is the tie rod end link, boot is torn.
This bushing has some cracks/splits but again, don’t think this had anything to do with the front end collapsing

Idk...nothing looks wrong
Without a photo of it in "collapsed" state, its hard to tell if anything is actually wrong.
