strut bar + MC brace
just ordered a strut bar and the LHT master cylinder brace im very excited because i havent done any mods to my car in toooo long and miss wrenching on it so found some inexpensive mods to entertain myself. ive heard the MC brace is noticeable and improves pedal feel so i cant wait for that; but when purchasing i had to choose whether to by the version for strutbar use or not. i figured why not throw a strut bar on at the same time. i know i may not "feel" a big difference b/c of the strut bar. i know the CR has an extra brace at the very front behind the bumper beam so its already a solid platform. will the improve the rigidty at all or just reinforcce whats already in place? any input or opinions are welcome!!!! thanks

Strut bars make a big difference in McPherson strut suspensions.
This is because the top of the shock tower must resist lateral loads from the top of the wheel carried thru the strut.
vs
The S2000 has a double wishbone suspension.
The lateral loads from the top of the wheel are carried by the upper A-arm directly to the frame of the car.
The shock towers only have to resist the linier motion of the shock.
edit: in other words, strut bars do next to nothing on an S2000, because the S2000 doesn't have struts.
