Default Replacing Rotors

I'm trying to replace stock rotors. I know how to do it but it's just that those two screws on the rotors are stuck from the rust.

did a search but didn't find anything.

Is there a good way to take those rusted rotor screws out without stripping them?

thanks in advance!

impact screwdriver, you can pick em up from autozone for 10$ Simple to use, put the right phillips bit in and hit the end with a hammer.

And add a little white lithium grease to the screws if you are going to reinstall them.

Use the manual hammer-type impact driver, as suggested previously. If you use a powered impact driver, make sure you are putting a lot of force to properly seat the screw bit in the screw. Ask me how I know lol. If you strip the head (as I did), you'll need to drill out the head of the screw and grab a screw extractor kit to remove the threaded portion from the hub. Use lots of WD40 or PB Blaster before attempting. Also, I find it useful to give the rotor a good tap and also to insert 2 6mm bolts in the threaded holes in the rotor hat. Tightening them, then loosening them will help unseat the seized screw head.

impact screwdriver or impact drill will be your best bet.

If using an impact drill, push HARD to prevent stripping

Another +1 for the impact driver. No other tool better for this.

I prefer to use Permatex anti-seize for all my thread coating needs. Flat rate techs best friend, I loved getting return vehicles at the dealership that came apart like brand new cause every tech I worked with used this stuff religiously.
