Default Removing Helper Spring on PSS Coilovers

I have a set of PSS coilovers. I have the rear set to as low as they can go and I want to go a little bit lower. I see that the helper spring is fully compressed at the current height that they are at. So they are only acting as a spacer and not really doing anything. Has anyone removed the helper spring before and would it blow out the shocks?

It won't blow out the shock, that spring is only there to keep the main spring captured so if you don't mind the main spring flopping around when the car is jacked up then remove the helper spring.
