Rear suspensin clunk and tightening the top nut.
recently put in monoflex and noticed a slight clunk on the right rear. Looked it up and even the Tein website says it's probably that top nut loose (the one that screws down to the base of the damper adjustment knob).
They said to just have it retorqued, but of course, the hard part is that the shock rod spins unless you hold the rod in place with a wrench, which is supposedly damaging to the damper. People say to hit it with an impact gun to get it on there quick and tight.
Anyone have experience doing this and can give any pointers? i'm wondering if i should remove the nut completely then hit it with the impact gun or just leave the nut in it's current position and hit it with the gun as-is. i can't use a torque wrench b/c then i can't hold the rod in place with a wrench.
