Question involving Konis, ground control, and eibach springs
Alright, so looking at suspension opportunities. My previous car was a S13 240sx which suspension wise I had koni 8610 inserts with ground control sleeves in front and koni yellows with ground control sleeves in the rear. The spring rates in the rear were 7", 2.5", 450lb, and I could never decipher the front part number on the eibach spring, it was 180.64.75, (on a side note if someone could help me with that I would appreciate it, I bought it from ground control with them saying it was a 450 lb spring.) Anyways, I loved that setup on the 240sx. I was looking at the koni yellows for the s2000, and I was wondering what the general opinion would be of a koni yellow, GC sleeve, and eibach spring setup would be. Does anyone have specific experience with this type of setup and if so how was it compared to oem? Also, what reccomended spring rates should I look at for street use/autocross on weekends? Thanks for the help guys.

from what I have read, it seems that the consensus was that koni yellows will handle a 500lb/in spring perfectly fine, If you had them revalved on the other hand to perform/compete in autox, a stiffer spring in the 600-800lb/in would be more favorable in the typical nonstag 255 fitted s2k. For the budget setup, the koni yellow/ground control setup is very hard to beat.
