Question about Swift spring rates, length, and stroke.
Yes, I searched.
I am in the market on purchasing 14k/14k spring rates to put on my Megan Coilovers. Although, the ride height in the rear has already maxed out and I would like to go lower. So I need a better understanding of how "Stroke" or "Usable" stroke as Swift likes to call it works. I want to opt for the 6" springs instead of the 7" spring that Megan Racing recommends to be lower. Hell, what about the 5" spring? I am worried that I would bottom out too early, or worst the spring could possible make my car taller.
I remember awhile back in my BMW I purchased a stiffer Hypercoil spring with the same length as my B&G linear spring and it made my car sit higher.
