Question about Rotors.

Question about Rotors.
Hello everyone,
I've never had to deal with brake/rotor issues before on any of my cars but I believe I'm having this problem with my "S"...
When I brake in low speeds I can feel my car bounce, it sounds like it's rubbing until I come to a stop.. I asked some opinions from friends and they said it sounds like your rotor is screwed up.
I'm pretty much an idiot when it comes to this stuff so please spare some mercy.
I was going to purchase some new rotors for the car instead of having one replaced.
However, I don't want to purchase rotors that require a new brake caliper or anything.
Any opinions or suggestions on which rotors I should purchase?
Thank you,
Eric.

1. rotors can be checked for wear and warping
2. new rotors don't require calipers change
3. what's you mileage? when rotors and pads were changed for the last time?

i had a similar problem with my s after having left it sitting around for 6 months on deployment. what i did was go to honda and had my rear rotors replaned and it went away immediatly. cost was like 400, but that was for a full "brake job". honestly it would be cheaper than trying to get all new rotors for your car. agree with all croc said, and add to that, go outside and look at your rotors. is there uneven wear on them (i.e. rusted on a certain area more than others?)

Just run your finger alone the rotor surface when its cold, if you feel a lot of bumps and imperfections, then you may need to get the rotor resurfaced or replaced due to warping.

Thanks guys.
Croc, the rotors/pads have never been replaced, the car has 35k on her now.
I was looking at these; http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sku/Powe...on+%26+Steering
Think those are junk?

Unless you have some specific track needs, the stock rotors are your best bet like Croc said.
I do not have expereince with Centric but they are made by the same company that makes Powerslot and Stoptech. They are all just branded differently.

i also thougth so but it turned out that OEM is ~30$ more than Centric Premium.
i've got Centrics and they're perfect.
if the person doesn't track his/her S - no reason to go for anything more than OEMs.
All the upmarket rotors are worthless in this situation - unless owner want the looks/rice.
NAPA worsk perfect on Miatas. even for track. for S i don't know.
