Default Question about preloading springs

I recently installed my eibach springs and while I'm satisfied with the drop. The back tends to be about half a finger lower as far as wheel gap. I thought I preloaded the suspension correctly but after reading more about it I don't think I did a successful attempt. I jacked up the rotor and then tighten the suspension but I didn't know you should jack it up until car is off the jack and then tighten. I got one side of the car on jacks right now and just wanted to get a confirmation that I'm doing this right.

After I jack up the rotors and have the car 1" higher than the closest jack. I tighten these bolts only?

And these only for the rear? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, once I tighten everything do I need to retighten the top hats as well?

What I did is tighten all these bolts with the tires back on with the car on the ground. Its surprisingly easy to get in there with a 1/2 ratchet. The rear should only be the bottom bolt unless you removed the upper bolts. Funny though I'd prefer the rear being a bit lower due to the stock rakked look. By the way how was the ride afterwards I'm contemplating going with these or Megan track coilovers

Driving 3 days on these springs on the stock shocks so far and loving it. I daily my S and with some of the roads here under construction, I didn't want to sacrifice ride comfort when lowering it. The springs managed that. A simply and noticeable drop with a driving feel of stock.

After redoing the preload, the front now looks right. It's a tight 2 finger squeeze (sounds dirty I know) at the front on both sides and barely 3 on the back. Springs haven't been on for a week so it could continue to get lower by a few mm. Either way I'm satisfied.

Was the body roll and brake dip about the same as stock?
