This is often referred to as the compliance bushing or the front LCA rear bushing. The rear LCA bushings are available.

Robert, Colin F. has been using delrin bushings in his STR suspension for the past year. If I remember correctly, he did not replace the rear toe link bushings or the OE compliance bushings.

I see, thanks for the clarification. I think you're saying bushing #12

Could they be too stiff for some locations such as the rear lower arm where compliance is needed due to the alignment pins?
Maybe I wasn't clear. The bushing for the rear lower arm is not yet available. Please look at the diagram in the storefront for better description.
am i being un clear?.
REAR (as in rear of car) LOWER Control Arm. not front lower control arm rear bushing. im not trying to be a dummy here.
Thank You nmrado for seing that i am not refering to the full compliance bushing on the front suspention.
rather the rear lower control arm, u know the one on the rear of the car that is not a compliance bushing but still needs some compliance due to the twisting motion incured from the alignment bolts...
no worries though, ill go crawl back into my hole.

ok Sorry for the rant. im not so good at putting my thoughts on paper.
I understand that they are available. could they cause any bind due to the previously stated issue.
Also i believe the, Front lower control arm, front bushing, may have the same problem.
that is if the bushings used are extremely stiff in nature.

Sorry that I misunderstood. I am not experienced in bushings and suspension. I know that my bushings are 12 years old with 125k miles in Florida near the beach and salt water. The rubber is dry rotted and hardened like a rock. Any compliance they might have had when new and fresh are simply no longer. Anything I buy at this point will be softer and more compliant than these old bushings.

so somewhat new suspension (i only have 14k miles) won't benefit from these right? seems like too good of a deal to pass up for 100K+ suspensions though

Order placed!

Thanks for organizing this! Cheers to another Melbourne S2000er!

Would a 6 ton press be enough to do the installation?
