Post your reviews: Koni and CR Springs Combo
Unfortunately, the forum does not allow you to search for CR. So, I'm looking for anyone that has the Koni/CR Springs combo. Please write a review.
How is the ride height? How much lower than stock?
Do you auto-x/track your car? How does it feel?

The only way to lower your car on stock springs and koni shocks is to use the lower perch. It is a set distance, so all corners would roughly be lowered by the same ammount. I'd say it's about 1/2 of a drop. How it would feel is dependent on what rebound setting you use. Writing reviews on shocks is rather hard to quantify. You just have to drive the car around, try different settings and see what works for you. If you want certain capabilities in a shock, we can talk about that, but how it feels is very subjective and directly related to the expereince of the driver in the seat.
If you are going to autocross this car you will be bumped classes if you use the lower perch. If you have other mods that bump you anyway, then why are you using stock springs?

I want to use CR springs specifically for the rate, and I don't want to deal with adjusting coilovers again. What springs can I get with CR type ratios, that are not coilovers?

i thought the lower perch offered about a 0.75" drop vs oem shocks?
also, anyone have any pictures of an s2k with koni's and stock springs (either cr or ap1/ap2)?

I have koni shocks, ground control sleeves with CR spring rate coilover springs. The ride is smoother then when it had stock springs and shocks because the Koni shocks have much less compression valving then the stock shocks. If I turn the rebound full stiff the car handles really good but still rides decent.
