Official Stoptech BBK Wheel Fitment Thread

I’m not your OP but I have a wheel with the same offsets. I’m running -3.2* in the front. When I measure tread block to fender lip clearance I get ~5-7mm clearance. With the way that the offsets, camber, and tire stretch works the sidewall does stretch outward to the wheel lip outside of the fender. I could be a bit more aggressive with offsets or run less camber however I like to have a bit of extra space as people have rubbed fenders with less.

Hey man. Thanks for ur reply.
Your wheels size are
17x8.5 +50
17x9.5 +50?
Do you think with -1.8 degree chamber will clear from rubbing? Trying to see if I can getaway without a chamber kit.

The red car looks to be running a bit less camber than me and may be able to give you a more direct answer.

Question does anyone know if
HyperGram 17x9 +40
Hypergram 17x10 + 43 (Goodwin Exclusive)
Countergram 17x9 +43
if they fit over Stoptech C43 BBK? Tried searching s2ki / Google/ Google images (for any bbk w wheels) / etc etc etc no luck
thank you.

So you don't think 17x8.5 +50 or 17x9 +45 will clear the C43 BBK?
Im running 17x9.5+51 with Hankook RS4 in 255/40/17. I guess I told a small lie, but 1 mm difference should be pretty minor in this instance. Either way, for bbk clearance you likely will have to stick with the 9.5. With this setup I’ve never run less than -3.0* camber. If I were to spitball I’d say with ~-2.0* camber the tread block might still tuck within the fender lip. However, the problem is that clearance is dynamic and the greatest risk is during extreme compression with the wheel turned which brings the tread block closer to the fender lip. Also if you’re lowered you should be able to get more than -1.8* camber even with stock camber joints. I got -2.0* with maxed OEM adjusters and stock ride height. If you’re stock height then your frame of reference will be different than mine. As the suspension compresses it naturally gains camber and the swing arc of the arms also brings the wheels in slightly away from the fender. When you lower your car you’re just resetting the static height of the car further in the natural camber arc (all other things left the same). I don’t recall my actual ride height but I’m lowered to 1.5 finger gaps at the front. So depending on your static height, your -1.8* may mean different things when comparing to others.

I can’t be too sure but comparing 17x8.5 vs 9.5 with the same offset the 9.5 will have more clearance by having the wider wheel barrel. Obviously proof is in the pudding when you take the template to the wheel. Also keep in mind that the C43 is a slightly smaller diameter bbk which puts the caliper closer into the center and more likely to interfere with spokes.

True, I have requested a few vendors to help me verify before I order. Hopefully they'll come back with some good news.
Thanks man!
