are the AP1 shocks interchangable? By that I mean are they valved the same or different? I would guess different but not all that different. I am thinking to put the 291 lb AP1 springs on my 03 with the CR front suspension. I like the idea of a stock height suspension upgrade and it would be cheaper than getting the rear CR stuff not to mention a little stiffer than the CR. I was thinking to try that setup and then fine tune it with sway bar changes. Any thoughts

So what would be the best springs to run on factory shocks.
Espilir is popular as is Tein and Ground Controls - which give you height adjustablilty as well as customized spring rates.
Can't go wrong with any of those.

Definitely a matter of opinion. In my case I would say Eibach Pro-Kit, only because I used them with success for over 50k miles. Later I installed Koni Yellows and realized how soft the OEM shocks had become. The drop on the Eibach is nice and even at about 1" all around.

My Eibachs always sat too high in the rear with stock shocks.
Koni Yellows have a lot more dampening than the stock shocks.
