Has anyone run CR springs On their stock ap2 shocks ? I would be interested in hearing about the ride and handling. I autocross my 07. I want to improve handling without ruining daily driving or breaking the bank. I currently have a Cusco front sway bar and run 225's front 255'S rear. I have read decent things about Swift and am a little confused about the Eibach springs and whether or not they were designed solely for ap1's.

(noobie question)

Hi. I also had my Eibach Pro Kit and 15mm H&R wheel spacers for front and rear installed a week ago. After the installations, I have alignment done yesterday. I am very satisfied with the drop.

However, (I hope anyone can help me on this) I have one problem. Whenever I accelerate (or especially shifting from 1st to 2nd), the car front end, I believe, shakes (and, slightly pulling to the left). I got a new set of tires almost 6 months ago. And, I am a quite conservative driver, so I doubt that the tires are the causes of this problem. I am fairly sure that it is not the alignment (it coasts straight).

Anyone any thought on this problem?

Thank you,

Can someone help me identify stock springs (fronts from rears) as they are very close. I bought a used set and will be converting my S back to stock springs. There are painted markings on the springs two of the springs have different markings from the other two (obviously) but I just need to find out which ones are the fronts and which are the rears. Any help, much appreciated!

What do you guys suggest between the tein s specs and Eibachs? They both have the same drop but how do they compare in terms of ride quality, spring rates, etc?
I'd like to know this too, also how do they compare on the track? Is it true that the Eibachs aren't progressive?

hi all, been reading through this thread and i am looking to lower my car which is an AP1 on stock suspension at the moment.

Current shortlist are
Tein S
Eibach
RS*R

My only concern is clearance/rubbing.

I'm running Volk SE37K's, 17" with et40 all round. 7.5J in front and 8.5J rear. Tyres are 225/45/17 all round too. I'm going to change the tyres, probably to 215/45/17 (front) & 235/45/17 or 245/40/17 (rear).

I don't want to have any issues with the arches and because of the sub-optimal offset of my wheels, I know this may be a problem. So, if anyone can lend any advice, it would be great!

Im in the same boat but am considering the CR springs as well to your list to help with the oversteer. Thoughts? Has anyone tried CR springs on AP1? Granted I wont be lower at all, I drive my car daily through really crappy roads though.
