thats what they say, but they settle way lower closer to 2 inches or more! I switched from Espelirs to Neuspeeds a few months ago and they're way lower for sure.

I'll try to provide as much info as possible, I'm looking for a good setup:

I don't track my car (I would like to but not enough money, time, or interest yet). I want my Ap2 to be roughly 1 inch lower than stock, and I want to avoid the "boat" stance (front higher than back) at all costs.

My goals for this setup in decreasing order of importance:

1. Comfortable ride (my current goal is NOT track performance)
2. Maintain or improve low-mid speed handling (canyon carving).
2. Reliable, long lasting setup (i.e. resistance to corrosion and rust by treated roads, etc.).
3. Drop of roughly 1 inch.
4. Low cost
5. Adjustable, so I can use this on the track someday.

I believe I will have to pair a good set of dampers with springs to achieve my goals. Besides Koni yellow shocks, what should I consider?

I know that buying used springs is okay, but I don't know the consensus on used dampers.
Thanks.

I need some help picking a suspension too. I was just thinking about getting Koni shocks with OEM springs. The roads here suck, so I cant drop height and I need a little stiffer to stop the occasional rubbing. Think Koni shocks set to stiff will work? Thanks

I'm with you also...

I've concluded that eibach pro kit is the way I'll be going.

Swift would be my 2nd choice.

After countless hours searching, reading, and searching some more, this is what I've decided. Hope this helps anyone out there who is confused also.

***To note, Im on an 04 ap2, used as an daily driver, going for acceptable handling, and wanting a 1" drop to minimize gap on stock shocks***

I'm a noob at things like this...but a friend of a friend is selling me neuspeed springs...it'll give me a 2inch drop...and i was wondering if i would need to roll my fenders i still have my stock ap2 rims on....or if i would need a camber kit.....or any of that stuff...please let me know thanks
Camber is adjustable on the S2000 without a kit. One of the advantages of wishbones over struts.

May I suggest that it might be worth learning a little more about how the car is designed and operates before you start changing things?

I heard that lowering S2000s was actually bad for their handling? That it threw off the geometry that Honda originally put them at and that it throws the 50:50 weight balance a little bit. Is there any truth to this? I have espielers and love them, but I do think they are a little worn and sit a little lower than they used to(meaning maybe new springs soon?)
