Centric Premiums (design and metallurgy) are equal to or better than OEM. The actual OEM units are measured using a CMM during the Centric design phase. If you are attending Homecoming II, Stop-Tech will have a display along with Powerslot rotors. My friend is an exec there and I believe I have convinced him that his guys should also bring Centric Premium rotors (same ownership for all 3 brands). They can answer all of your questions. Some of the execs are race car drivers..they know friction.
I'll have to check back at old invoices, and confirm which i used. Its been some time.

I have run both centric premiums and oem back to back. no differences at all. That cannot be said for the other brands I have tried to save a $$.

Hadn't heard of Centric Premium, but their basic cheapie front rotors were pretty bad back in the day. Huge variations in thickness between the inner and outer faces; cracked extremely easily on track.

Lakersfan, I'd def'ly like to see the Premium rotors at HCII.

I'll reach out to my friction friend and let him know that it makes sense to bring some of the Centric product line. Definitely, the Premium product is the way to go. I don't know their business well enough but they probably sell a lot of the standard line to repair shops, etc. and the shops can offer an upgrade (just guessing).

Again, I'm biased because my friend is with the company but all of my cars except the S2k (only has 2K miles on it) are running Centric Premium rotors and Posi-Quiet Ceramic pads. My daily driver is an Odyssey minivan but think of the strain on the braking system of a 4500 lb vehicle with as many as 8 passengers. Not an auto crossing S2K but. My family is too valuable to put in a vehicle with cheap tires or cheap brakes. BTW, for my S2K, Stop Tech has a new street performance pad and that is what I will put on my S2K when the need arises.

i just bought centric premuims and ebc red stuff brake pads. i dont do auto x. but naturally i do brake hard in general. i got ebc redstuff because of the less brake dust and excellent breaking and longitivty of the pad. ill let you know how they work after 1000 miles or so.
