1. if they're grooved too much
2. if they're too thin (you can see specs in te tech manual)

warped or/and cracked - obviously.

i saw once also some discussion about overheating that leaves spots on the rotor - but i'm not familiar with this.

We haev raced using OEM honda rotors for about 2-3 years with no problems. I am only starting to exceed their thermal capacity as the car has seen more weight shaving and more HP recently.

I had great experience with centric rotors. If i do remember correctly, centric, stoptech and powerslot are all same company.

most guys that race the centrics or autozones reported that they fractured prematurely. I found i got less life out of them compared to OEM as well.

Centric Premiums (design and metallurgy) are equal to or better than OEM. The actual OEM units are measured using a CMM during the Centric design phase. If you are attending Homecoming II, Stop-Tech will have a display along with Powerslot rotors. My friend is an exec there and I believe I have convinced him that his guys should also bring Centric Premium rotors (same ownership for all 3 brands). They can answer all of your questions. Some of the execs are race car drivers..they know friction.
