Default need help adjusting the height on bc damper

i know how to adjust the height but how do u measure it? like for instance i want 1" drop how do i that? i see the front are longer than the rear? i have no idea but i know how to install it. would be great with some pics? thanks

Drop, then measure. Rinse and repeat.

move the lower ring up the shock body by 1"

It's not a direct correlation because of the motion ratio being less than one. One inch on the shock body does not translate to one inch of body movement.
