Ya, I never gave it too much in the past when I had a 6th Gen Civic. Then on a trip back from Vegas in my AP1, it did that when I had to brake abruptly. A few months later on another trip back from Vegas after I had fresh tires, it didn't happen. Brakes were more worn by then if anything, but it didn't do it.

We tend to feel the ABS kick in more front the front of the car as the majority of the braking takes place up front. I can't think of a time when I actually felt the ABS activate in the rear of the car and not the front.
