lowering car with coilovers-should I get axle spacers?
My S only has 50K miles on it with no vibration from my axle buckets. Should I go ahead and put axle spacers in when I install some coilovers?

If you wan't, it won't help or hurt.

I think it sort of depends on the drop. I just recently dropped mine an inch and decided to wait on spacers, I figured I could slap them in during before the alignment/balance in a week or so if I had problems. No vibration for me so I'm not putting any spacers in.
EDIT: It's an AP2 with 84xxx miles. I agree with deepblue below.

Thanks for the replies. I was just thinking I would want to install them while I had the rear suspension apart. Some of the posts on this matter made me think I would eventually need them. But at the same time if I wait I would save some cash....

I wouldn't. I lowered my S considerably at 40k, and I didn't get vibrations until 175k. I swapped the buckets side to side and I've been good for another 25k and counting. I suspect you don't have enough pitting at 50k to warrant them.
