Hi everyone, I posted about this in brakes and suspension, but got no replies, so I figured I'll ask here. Does anyone have a combination of Koni yellows and swift spec R's that can give me their thoughts on the setup? Thanks

koni yellows are quality shocks that can be tailored to perform even better

Swift spec r springs are very good linear rate springs

sounds like a good marriage to me

Koni Yellows are definitely a great way to go performance wise. They can handle a lowering spring and are nice and sporty.

Alright I'm going to order the pair then, and then I will post a detailed review, I couldn't find much of a review so I guess I'm going to have to be the guinea pig. Thanks guys

They're very good, another option is to use cr springs on the lower perch, the difference in spring rate is .5kg/mm

I posted a picture and need to take some more on another thread of this setup. A few days ago I finally had a chance to take the car up to a mountain. For everyday driving the car feels good. The mountain road is pretty destroyed at this time of the year so that was hard to tell what was going on. Sort of a controlled bounciness. My girl said the car now feels smooth compared to just Spec R springs on stock shocks. Konis eat rough roads very well at freeway speeds. Now I just need to find a road around LA that hasn't been destroyed from the Winter.

I just got the combo on and I'm in love. It handles unbelievably well. With this being said, my car had 159k miles on the stock shocks/springs so obviously they were a little bit tired, but after examining them they still had good resistance. This setup gave me exactly what I wanted. It gave me much better performance over stock, more aggressive look, and a much more planted and stable ride especially over bumps. Now I know for sure that I am limited by the tires more than the suspension, and I will be getting a nice set of Michellins before giving my full review. Based on my experience so far, I am extremely happy. I also need to swap the axle boots now, and obviously an alignment lol but that's no big deal. Thanks guys
