Default Koni sports/ Swift Spec R combo

I've been looking around for coilovers for a decent amount of time but It seems like for the money the konis/ swift spec r will be better than coilovers in that price range. I just wanted a little drop so they lowering springs would be fine for me, it's just one less thing I could mess up too. My car, as it sits at 157k miles, feels like it's getting just a little bit sloppy, so my guess is worn shocks/ bushings/ etc so to freshen it up a little, while giving me ever so slightly better handling and a more ideal ride hieght, I feel like the Koni/Swift spec r combo would be the best. My only gripe is that I am used to reading through 100's of reviews on a purchase of this magnitude before finally making the purchase. I can find plenty of reviews on Konis with stock springs that say that the springs are too soft, as well as stock shocks with the spec r springs which say the shock isn't optimized for the spring. Can anyone with the aforementioned combo give me a review of how they handle compared to stock? I'm not too concerned with ride quality, Delaware's roads are pretty nice for the most part, but I do rip through backroads with some friends and I am concerned with how stable and predictable and planted the car is. Any feedback would be great as well. Thanks everyone
