Default I'm Running 20mm Front Spacers to Clear Calipers , Do I Need to touch Rears ?

I've been running with 20mm front spacers (H&R's with integrated studs) for about 8 months. I had to go with them to clear my brake calipers using ap2v3 rims. Is there any need to put spacers on the rear just because I have them on the front ?. I'm only concerned about suspension effects, not so much about cosmetics, I'm not really into the flushness thing. As of right now the handling seems fine, I can't say that I've noticed much difference since the installation of the spacers, not that I was expecting any either. I just want to know if adding spacers on the rear is needed to balance out any handling changes. I want to get an alignment very soon so it would be good to know if I need anything else before I do that. thanks for reading and any replies.

Okay thanks. Do you think the rears are needed for any handling reasons ?

By adding a 40mm wider track width in the front, you've essentially made the car more oversteer-prone. If that bothers you then add some rear spacers to balance it out; if not then good!

Thanks for the reply, that makes a lot of sense, I appreciate the info. The funny thing about my S2000 is that it has always understeered at the limit, which is odd for a MY2002. I have never felt it come close to oversteer. Based on that then I won't touch the rear setup. I am running ap2 rims and tires on my car, which might have something to do with it slight understeering. Thanks for the great info.

It won't increase oversteer. It will actually reduce understeer. There's a difference.

Thanks for the added info. I've still got some understeer to spare even in reduced form, so I probably won't touch the rears.
