Default Help! pss9 instructions needed

hey fellas i just bought ppss9 coilovers from a memeber here and have zero expererience with coilovers, first off i was wondering if anybody here has some instructions in pdf form, so i believe they are missing the little adjustment knob/disc that you adjust rebound/compression with and was wondering how i can aquire those. also 3 out the four coilovers springs are lose, I thought there suppose to have tension with the top hats on, and also want to know hoe to remove the top hats?? im a newb at this...

check out the threads below, and there are links in them to other threads, lots of good reading.

You need to shorten up the mounting plates to get them to the recommended height range, the range is listed in the installation instruction. Do that after the top hats are installed.

The top hats are tightened to Honda spec, about 22 ft lbs, you put them on and take them off by turning the top nut while holding the center shaft so that it doesn't move. Two wrench method.

The Bilstien instructions are crappy but you can download them from their website here

Just extend the coilovers as far as they can go and removing the top hat is easy. Good thing about coilovers is you don't need a spring compressor to swap springs.

so by making sure the spring if free of play nice and snug, means it is at 0 preload, btw they are swift springs not sure if that changes anything, but what i dont under stand is that when i lower the coilover i believe the spring will become loose? is that normal once under load it will be ok???
