Yes, the Penskes use a 12mm pin mount that is about 60mm long, if I remember correctly. The pin mount then threads onto a 5/8-11 male thread on the damper shaft and is held in place with a thin jam nut. I've got a CAD model of it all somewhere...just can't find it.

What are the dimensions of the Ohlins pin mount design? The GCs are indented to be used with OE (10mm pin mount) or Koni dampers (12mm pin mount). They just happen to work with Penske pin mounts, as well. The Ohlins look like they have an extra step in their pin design, so they may require a custom spacer to work with the GC top hats.

That first step you see from the threads is for the pillow ball. I'm not sure what the specs are

whats the exact model/year/version of the extended hats?

I have revalved konis, shortenned fronts with 700/600lbs springs but the rears where bottom out so I had to raise it up all round (or run a not sensible amount of rake)

The top hats I used are the ones they make for Civic/Integra.

Bingo. If you ask them about these mounts for an S2000, they'll probably tell you they have fitment issues, which they do slightly. You will experience rubbing on the fuel filler bellows. They will probably cause slight rubbing on the hood liner in the front.

The GC SKU for these mounts is "HondaMount-RACE". Not exactly a number, but they'll know which ones you're talking about. Specify the 12mm pin mount when using them with Konis.

^What I did on mine for the rear near the fuel filler was take some foam tape and put it over the adjuster so it wasn't metal rubbing on rubber.

Those are similar but use a polyurethane bushing design (similar to stock rubber bushings) instead of spherical bearing. The end result will be similar, compression & droop travel wise. They're also ~40% cheaper than the spherical bearing version.

/Steve\ used the polyurethane version in his writeup. The ones I used (above) are the spherical bearing version.

And I would have ordered the solid tops had I not found them after I already had the urethane bushing ones.

So the Civic/Integra ones fit better than the S2K fitment?

Which year, and Civic or Integra?

Or did you just want the spherical bearing? What benefit does it provide over the urethane one, just running it in the back? Does the bump stop/shaft body fit up into these with Konis, how low of a ride height are you able to achieve without bottoming?
