Favorite street/track pad that doesn't squeal?
I'll be changing in some new pads soon and was wondering what everyone's favorite street/track combo pad is? Eventually I may graduate to a track only pad, just not right now. Some pads that have come up in searches are Ferodo DS2500, Project Mu B-Force, EBC Yellowstuff, and Hawk HPS.
Would like something where the dust isn't corrosive, doesn't squeal, and gives more bite/less fade than OEM. Thanks in advance.

Project Mu's are corrosive, dust heavy, and don't have a very good feel, I'd skip those. I run Cobalt pads now for track duty and OEM for regular driving.
It really is worth having track only pads, the difference is shocking.

I am also interested in a brake pad set similar to the OP. Something stronger than stock, but not over the top....what I mean by that is, something not crazy expensive such as Project Mu Club Racer....or a dedicated "track only" pad.

There are no pads that are really better and don't dust/squeal at the same time.
Hawk HP+ is decent for street/track, had good cold bite. But it will dust and squeal, on the plus side its cheap-ish.
As Sam said, you are better off with a track only pad and a street pad.

HPS's are garbage...look at the HP+. I ran Carbotechs to, during, and from the track and they had just a tiny bit of squeal, pretty quite otherwise. They did bend though

I've actually been pretty happy with my Project Mu hc+800s. They don't dust or squeal any more than HP+ pads
Proper bedding in will keep them quiet too. This is true for these pads and the HP+. If you go out every so often and do a few hard stops similar to the bedding in process it will help keep them quieter.

Drove Carbotechs from AZ to Lancaster and back with a day of tracking in there. There was minimal squeal driving to and from the track (surprisingly). I will say that when they do squeal, everyone in the immediate area is going to know it.

I found that Hawk HPS pads are fine for the street, but won't take much of any track abuse. I use Hawk HP+ for the track and they seem to hold up surprisingly well. I switch back to my HPS pads for the street. When I'm not going to see the track for a while.
I don't like the HP+ for the street. They dust quite a bit, and will develop a loud squeal unless heat cycled a few times.
