EBC Pads
Anyone running redstuff pads? I was thinking about these or yellows, but yellow doesn't seem to last very long. Most street use with an occasional track day here and there.

I used yellow for the track. I was originally pretty happy. Then they started fading pretty bad at Autobahn Full course. I thought I had maybe just out grown the pads and that Autobahn full was just a fast course. But then I took the pads off and saw that half the pad face was missing. They had crumbled apart. I dropped one from about a foot up and it completely shattered/fell off the backing plate. The pads were also NOT rotor friendly. My rotors were looking like a vinyl record with all the grooves cut into them even before the pads fell apart.
Will never buy again.
I've heard about crumbling issues with red stuff pads also. Honestly, look elsewhere.
Carbotech AX6 or Bobcat might be the right pad for you. They last forever, don't have corrosive dust, and are rotor friendly. They cost a good amount of $$, though. IIRC, it's right around $300 for a set. I use XP10/XP8 for the track and I love them. I swap them back and forth for the track. I use stock pads on the street. That gives me the best of both worlds.
Hawk HP+ is a good "compromise" pad between street and track. Noisy, dusty, but not as bad as straight up track pads like XP10/X98 or something similar. The dust is corrosive, however. So keep the wheels clean and buy a brake dust repellant.
