Default CV axle spacers

So I was just pittling around the internet and seen these spacers and I was wondering how they affect the angle of the outer joint of the CV axles. So say you got some negative camber going(nothing serious like 2 degrees), new CV axles and you just happen to notice that the angle on the CV joints are a little loosely fit(axle nuts have been checked twice for 220 lbf torque). Now the problem is that I have a clicking/clunking sound from the rear with new axles. I dont think its defective parts, but due to the negative camber maybe im getting the same effect as if it was lowered and the CV axles are loosely fit therefor possibly there is a need for spacers. I have read alot about these and everyone says its just a precaution taken to ensure proper CV axle alignment if you will. All opinions are welcome just trying to figure this out.

Thank You!
