B, where do you like to order your pads from?
On my track car, I've been using Powerstop PSA's that I order from Rockauto. No real complaints.

If you wanna go the Stoptech route, use buybrakes.com

Carbotech, I used to buy from a friend who is a retailer.

Hawk DTC, you can probably get at tire rack or any performance seller.

Default Serves me right

I should have inspected these sooner, I just didn’t think they’d be that bad.

You can notice two things in this pic. 1) pad on the left is glazed 2) it’s about half the thickness of the one on the right

What I’m not sure of it it more worn on the outside pad because the caliper isn’t gliding well? Or is it because I ran Road Atlanta clockwise and the drivers side got more heat/abuse?

These pads were both from the drivers side. They were both glazed, I just sanded the one to show a comparison.

now I am scrambling at the last min trying to find the best pads to throw on before I leave Thursday morning.

I hate when I do this to myself

Its from caliper not sliding. Not from cornering same direction.

Clean glide pins, lube them, not too much to hydrolock pin. Use a silicone grease. Don't use pad grease. Make sure pin glides freely. Reassemble.

The pad itself also has to glide between the caliper hardware. Copper anti seize works well for that...and cleaning the mounting points for the hardware to make sure there's no rust underneath them

Just ordered the ap2 pads from Honda, $90! They be here tomorrow morning. Worst case, the PSAs don’t get here in time, at least I’ll have fresh pads. Best case, I get the PSAs on and now have some dedicated track day brakes.

thanks for the pointers on the brakes. I’ll be thorough on them. May even throw on a lick of paint

As a note since Hawk was mentioned, if you run any track night in america events with SCCA, make sure to check the box for the rebates. They typically have rebates at TireRack on tires, Hawk pads, centric rotors and other items. I tend not like Hawks track pads as much as I do the ones I run ,but they are not bad either and the discounts are nice if you go that route.

What are you doing with the OEM brake pads for? Every day driving or for the track.
