coilovers for the street
Can anyone make recommendation on what you prefer. I don't want to lower, no track time.
I live in the twisty's so some spirted driving. I just want to feel more planted. I have gone
thru several threads and have looked at Koni, Tein, Eibach ect. Any help well be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Bilstein PSS/PSS9 would be my suggestion.
If not budget limited, then Ohlins DFV.
The Koni is a bit of a downgrade from stock imo (though if stock stuff is worn, its still an upgrade). Koni is popular with competition classes that require fixed, stock height perch. They are buildable, and can be made into whatever you want, but its not cheap.
Eibach seem great, but more track oriented. You'll have to invent a way to mount the reservoirs.

My car has 40k miles so im not at the need to replace stage. The PSS9 is something i would consider. Thank for your input.

Yeah, PSS9 or Ohlins is the obvious choice.
Good luck with what you choose.

Yup. Echoing everyone else with the Bilstein PSS9.

I have decided on the PSS9s. For you that have them, what's the best setting for street use
im guessing 4 or 5. Also can you achieve stock ride height ? Would i need to get bigger
sways for a more BMW planted feel ?

Then decide if it needs to be more planted. No, generally speaking, you don't just want to throw big sway bars at any car.
