Default Coilovers

I am looking to buy some coilovers to lower my s2k and was wondering what y'all have and think of them. I want some that will do good for a daily driver but also getting sideways every once in a while.

I second the ohlins. And URGE is the place to get them if you go that route. The coilovers are extremely streetable but make the car more agile as well. I was seriously not expecting much from them considering how well the s handles stock, but I was wrong.

"coilovers to lower" question is very vague... see where you want to go with the car and then ask specific to your needs...

for instance, if the car is going to be tracked, then they could say buy XXX coilovers...
i just want to slam my car and be cool.... then buy these xxxx coilovers...

for someone who just drives on the street and doesnt track, even some springs could be worth considering... i went with Spec-R's and for what i use the car for its perfect for me.

Just saying to give some more info as to what you want answered...

Completely agree. And conduct a search... there's a ton of relevant information out there.

Sorry about not being more clear. The reason I am looking for coilovers is because I can adjust them anytime instead of a constant height and stiffness. I was looking for some that feel just as good as stock if not better, but also provide some good track days. I'm not trying to go super expensive and would prefer them being under $1500 but if I would have to for the quality I don't mind spending more.

Fyi the stock shocks are very good also. Maybe a gc conversion with springs around 300lbs may be the ticket.
