Default coilover install

so i was trying to install my coils last night, i have the fronts in, but the rears...i can't get into the driver side.

i've heard of people using crazy extensions or whatever. another was moving the fuel lines, i tried moving it, but it doesn't seem it wants to move much. how did you guys move your fuel lines to get to the coil?

and a photo for fun

Open the gas door, remove gas cap, remove 3 little nuts around gas cap, remove the bolt inside the trunk holding the filler neck to the chassis, then push/pull like hell on the filler neck to get it fully into the trunk so you can fold it away from the top of the strut. It is difficult to do, and don't go crazy or try to use tools to pry on it. You should be able to get it with some elbow grease pulling on the filler neck.

Once you do it once, it is super easy and fast, and makes getting at those bolts so much easier.

You can get at those bolts with simple extensions and a ton of patience (I've done that several times) but ever since I removed the filler neck once, I have done it that way ever since.

The threads of the three studs that the tiny nuts go on will get caught on the sheet metal as you try to push/pull the filler neck into the trunk. Also, the filler neck itself will try to get stuck on the sheet metal. This may be why it felt so hard to pull in at the time. Helps to have one person pulling from in the trunk and another pushing/observing from outside the car and guiding the filler neck through the sheet metal holes.
