Default broken wheel stud (rear)

I'm not sure how, but I had 2 studs snap on me 2 days ago.

so far we've removed everything down - brake rotor etc - but we can't get the new stud in, it's too big

can anyone help me with what else, and how, I have to remove?

I've googled this, and I found old threads with "blocked" pics

looks like all that's left is axle nut? is that it?

does the bearing HAVE to be replaced?

thanks guys

can the part that has studs on it be removed off the assembly without removing the nut?

you can notch the heat shield and then rotate the rub to the position where the bad stud is and pull it out from the back, no need to disassemble the hub.

In order to get new stud in you have to either remove hub or grind the stud down

Do you have OEM or aftermarket wheels? Or better yet what kind of lug seat do you require for your rims?

If aftermarket go with the evs evasive open ended steel lugs excellent quality, hold up well to impacting and they are a good value
