Hello,
I have a problem with my brakes and not sure what to do. when I slam on the brakes and almost get into an accident my front brakes makes a grinding noise like if the piston is grinding on the rotor. the brakes pads was recently changed about 4000 miles ago. is it normal to have that grinding sound? also any good reconmendation on quality pads? much appreciated.

if you're stomping on them hard its probably the ABS. Does it grind during forced hard braking or just all the time? You're going to need to clarify that.
Also, did the sound happened recently or do you think it happened right after brake pad change?
