Thumbs up Brakes upgrade

Greetings fellow S2000 enthusiasts!!

I'd like some opinions and suggestions for brake upgrades...

Ive recently done a overhaul/build and tune on my AP1...and the engine is running rather well...so with that, im very happy.
But naturally, more the car has "GO"...needs to have more "STOP" lol
Im currently running stock disks and callipers, and Seido-ya's SM500 brake pads all round...and meshed brake lines. They are great for street use, but not so on the track.

SO!! taking into consideration that I intend to eventually run wider tyres, Im thinking of going for a full brake upgrade (though my back account doest agree)

At this point, my top two brands im considering (from suggestion) is Tarox and Project Mu....and AP Racing as third choice (considering price also).

Does any one have experience running any of these brands..? How are they? Any other recommendations..?

Also, im not sure as to run the from 4 pod or 6 pod...suggestions on that also perhaps?

Thanks alot! Drive safe everyone

Search for the Accord front caliper conversion.

Will run you about 225 all together and a huge improvement in stopping and cooling over the OEM calipers.

For street driving, something like a Stoptech SP pad and good blank rotors will work great. They even work fine for light track duty. On a medium-to-slower track with a stock S2000, they're definitely fade free. Good fluid is often overlooked. For street driving, any good, fresh DOT3/4 fluid will be more than enough. For the track, ATE has been my favorite, considering price and performance.

I don't know what is easily available in Dubai, however.

On an off note....I used to live there and miss it quite a bit every time I have to deal with Chicago's awful winters lol.

Leave the calipers stock and just upgrade the pads and fluid. There are many options available, with Carbotech being a very popular track option.

Just changing out your stock rotors and pads for something more sporty will increase your braking performance considerably and not break the bank. This might be your best option short of swapping out calipers. I suggest going with a Stoptech slotted package if your planning to do some track time.

We also have great pricing on a variety of other brands as well including Hawk and Brembo.
