Changed tthe brake pads and now the brake pedal feels kind of spongy and I can push it all the way to floor with some effort. Didn't Change the fluid or the rotors.

a lot of possible reasons/solutions.
sometimes brake piston goes too much inside (for example due to too thick pads or too thick backing plates) and it does this.
you didn't put 2 sets of backing plates, did you?
sometimes it just takes a day or two for pads to run in and get rotors' shape.
in theory it shouldn't do this and all should work perfectly.
but sometimes those weird things happen...

Bleed your brakes until you get a pedal that will stop the car. Then go engage ABS. Then disconnect your battery and wedge the brake pedal down overnight. That is how I cure a spongy pedal works every time.
