Default Brake pad and rotors upgrade for the track

I was wondering if you upgrade the front pad to a track pad would it be necessary to upgrade the rear pad to a track pad as well? Also, I was wondering if slotted rotors provide better braking performance and if you go slotted in the front do you need to do the same in the rear?

I would upgrade both front and rear pads, but not nessesarily to the same pad material. Slotted and drilled rotors will not improve anything. It might actually be worse, since the mass of the rotor is less than a blank, giving less ability to handle heat.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to run Project Mu Club Racer in the front. What would you recommend for the rear?

Project Mu HC+ is one step down from the Club Racer; that may be a good choice for the back.
