I purchased a set of BC BR's, they stated the kit was the "Extreme Low" however after lowering the vehicle on

18x9 +25
18x10 +25
w/ 35 series tires

There was still a small gap in the rear. I called BC in Florida and they stated that they're limited to how low the kit can go however if I wanted, I can order custom springs for the rear (just letting everybody know, doing this will cause you to pretty much have no preload)which can make the rim tuck underneath if wanted.

WOW that's low!! Looks sick!!
Hahah it sure is. Not too bad around the Dallas area. Thanks!

Swift Springs came in with BC Racing BR suspension but the springs were not labeled front or rear...

so, part #'s

Z65-178-100 (Shorter)
Z65-203-100 (Longer)

which is front and which is rear? anyone know. can't find info online.
The 203 are the front and the 178 are the rear. Make sure you preload them to about 5mm both front and rear.

hi all,

i'm having a hard time deciding if the BC BR coilover "regular" model vs the "extreme low kit". i'm hoping owners of either one can give their opinion on how high/low each model can go.

i'm looking for 1 finger to no gap drop. will the "regular" model be enough? or will the "extreme low kit" might be too much for that.

thanks!!!!!!

Hey! After checking out the reviews the regular kit can go pretty low. You can pretty much tuck the tire in front and sit right on the tire in the rear.

Hey OP, can you tell me what your wheel specs and tire specs are? And have you done anything to your sway bars or strut bar?

Do you guys think that going with 12k swift springs are too stiff for a mostly daily driver car?

I'm running Swift 10kg f/r with the BC's and I think it is borderline too stiff for daily. My wife doesn't enjoy the ride anymore and even after I play around with the dampen settings, I can't get it comfy enough for her.

For me, I find it to be what I was looking for with the exception of low speed ride quality. At low speeds, the ride is too stiff, specially over uneven pavement but that is going to happen with any increase over stiffness.
I
What I was wondering is if anyone has tried softer spring rates in the front w/ stiffer FSB. I want to increase ride quality while maintaining turn-in and still be stiff enough for spirited driving. Thinking 9kg/10kg f/r. or even 8kg/10kg f/r with eibach or equivalent FSB. Anyone?

Iam after a nice road setting. The car won't get used on track and iam on oem 17s (2006 car). I also want the car nice and stable at the rear. What spring rates should I order with my bc coilovers?
