Default Article: How to Choose the Best Brake Pads

Hi,
I wanted to post a link to an article I recently wrote about how to choose street and track brake pads. I know this has always been a popular topic on this forum, and one that creates a lot of confusion.

This is NOT an article promoting a specific brand or brands. It is intended to lay out the thought processes and variables that go into choosing a pad for any street or track condition.

Thank you so much for this article! I just happened to be researching replacement brake pads for my S when I saw your article. I will be attending my first HPDE event this November and after reading the section on HPDE events I'm changing my focus. I'd much rather deal with some added brake noise (AP2 pads already kick out tons of dust) for the next few weeks than have to deal with brake fade on the day of the event.

So thanks a bunch! It's amazing what insight a little reading can provide!

Is it just me or are a lot of posts truncated? I've ran across a bunch on both Chrome and FF. This post for example is useless without the rest of it
