Some related troubleshooting stuff from the manual related to the sensors. There are a lot more pages on the ABS stuff but these relate most to the sensors. If you find that you have potential other issues I am happy to send over more pages.

you can, but you need a more advanced one that reads the chassis codes. I have one, unfortunately it’s at my shop.

Would you mind posting page 19-49?

I replaced the left rear sensor and the issue is still there.

To keep this thread up to date, I installed a new sensor in the left rear. No more ABS code. I am still getting the weird noise/pulsation in the brake pedal below 10 mph, which is frustrating. I may just have to live with that but if anyone has any ideas I am all ears.

Not quite sure what you mean "run out". I will likely do a brake fluid flush (even though I did one 6 months ago) and put on some new rotors just to rule that out. But if it was an issue with air in the brake lines and/or an issue with the rotors, I would expect to experience the noise/pulsation braking at other speeds as well. This is only felt below 10 mph. The noise sounds like it is coming from under the hood. My thought is ABS pump is making the noise but I don't know that for sure.

To close the circle on this, the remaining issue was the abs pump kicking in as I slowed below 10 mph. It caused a vibration in the pedal and made a noise from the ABS pump. This was after I had replaced the left rear sensor.

I took the car to a honda specialty shop (Hondew in Richardson, TX for those in the DFW area) and they very quickly resolved the issue. My left rear ABS sensor (the one I replaced) was not fully seated in the hub. So the sensor distance to the tone ring was greater than the other wheels which confused the ABS system. It was off by about 1/8th of an inch apparently. I am thrilled to say that solved the lingering issue. Charged me for an hour of shop time. Highly recommend Hondew for general service/trouble shooting!
