Think I can save my oem lip?
Cracked the hell out of my lip today going up my driveway... ironically what caused the to happen was getting my lip protector caught on the driveway entrance. Needless to say I cracked my lip on the right side only and all my tabs are intact with the exception of the one on the right wheel well. You think I can save the lip if I take it to a shop? Thinking about going to either dtm or jat in socal

True. If it's just as much as a new one to get fixed I'll just get one from majestic or hardtop guy. The idea of getting a replica one also crossed my mind but I'm not so sure the fitment will be any good

Can it be fixed, yes. Unfortunately you will have to weigh the cost of repairs versus a new one.

The install was easy...
1) Install OEM Honda Lip Tape (sold separately...also acquired on eBay for $25)
2) Install three pin/clips underneath the center of the bumper using existing holes
3) Two screws on the right, and two screws on the left
4) Done! (Okay, this isn't actually a step...but 3 steps seemed to short, so I added the fourth)
The only "challenging" part is that the lip fits pretty darn tight. You have to put a little bit on the left and the right to get it over the bumper, so there is some tension on the lip...which is actually a good thing...the fitment is much better a little tight than a little loose (you don't want a loose lip with big gaps).

Looks good! Might get one as a spare. Does it deform in hot weather?

Hello... this is my second post and I'm new. But can you please text me what shop in the bay area you went to to have this painted?
I'm not sure if I can receive messages on PMS yet but please reply here.
Thank you!
