VFR2S2K

Hi everyone. The S I recently picked up has a few small gouges, not very deep in the trim around the roof well. Almost looks like a rodent was nibbling on it. Apart from replacing it which I think would be a lot of labor and expensive do you have any suggestions on how to repair this? If this material can be sanded, perhaps some black epoxy or black paint as a filler then sanded and buffed? Black silicone filled and smoothed?
