Much more inexpensive and about as durable & easy to remove as vinyl - not to mention there would be no seams on around the front windshield.

The black vinyl on mine is already cracking from sun damage so I'm thinking of going this route.
Anyone done so yet?
I've used plastidip in the past. It held up for over a year with no issues and was really easy to do. I know the factory tape is glossy, so a top coat of plasti dip glossifier could work.

Excellent to hear.
Can confirm plastidip has been faring well, as the front bumper on mine had been reprinted- thus the shop had sprayed over the grille portions on the lower bumper. Upon application of plastidip a month ago, I haven't had a chip or issue yet.
