Got a black hardtop on a sebring silver car, getting the top sprayed to match, oem tops have a black metal trim around the side windows, if these trim pieces where painted silver also would that make it look better ? maybe like it had a chopped top ?

 

No don't do it, leave trim black.

I have the exact same setup and painted my top sebring silver. I've seen one s2k with the trim painted silver as well and it looked amazing IMO, however I didn't do it on mine. I thought it would be susceptible to stone chips and scratches and then would show the black paint underneath if it did chip.
