Camera has trouble capturing it but look where trunk meets bumper. That shits two tone. Good thing it is being repainted as we speak.

Stare at the rear drivers light and youll notice the difference like no other.

Look where bumper meets trunk.

I can see it clearly on the first picture.

Best bet is to find a used good condition OEM painted bumper... that would be my choice.

I tried that originally and on New England boards some one got lightly rear ended so I offered to take that bumper off their hands after they get a new one and get it painted. That was a no go since I think he kept it on since it was almost no damage at all.

It was hard to find another AP2 Silverstone bumper and I was not willing to downgrade to not so pretty AP1 bumper.

Update....

It's been 10 days so my GF and I swung by the shop so I can drop off the Veilside V1 spoiler. The car was parked out side and the color was off even more. It was lighter.

As we get inside the owner admits that he resprayed and it looked fine on a sample "card?" but as he resprayed the bumper the color was off again. He says he never had this many problems with a color before.

Just FYI they work on Ferraris and Porsches and high end vehicles. Been around for over 20 years and well known. So I would like to say I trust them some what.

................................

The owner said he might contact the insurance and try to get them to pay for paint blend. Rear quarter panels, trunk, etc...

I don't know how i feel about that!

Well with whatever you go with make sure your happy. If I remember right, the shop is obligated by law to comply. There is a lifetime warrany on all repairs done by a shop.

If they refuse, contact the bbb and file small claims.

Will do. After googling a bit blending doesn't sound as scary since I felt like I'll have a car thats 1/2 lighter silver. I guess it's a common thing to do with metallic paints?

Correct me if im wrong guys.
